HAVE YOU EVER EXPERIENCED THE ROAR OF A JAGUAR STANDING
IN FRONT OF YOU WITH NOTHING RESTRAINING HIM?

Wild Immersion produces breathtaking 3D experiences, leveraging the best augmented-reality footage techniques and cutting edge immersive technologies, to plunge the spectators into a Nature 360° action film.

The spectator experiences the feeling of being in the middle of the wilderness, discovering mind-blowing situations, like it would happen in real life.

The Wild Immersion Company is committed to explore and protect our planet’s living spaces and environment.

The Wild Immersion is a new kind of company that is eco-friendly, ethical and educational.

The Wild Immersion Virtual Reserve program brings a strong educational message, about the Nature and the situation on species extinctions in the world, particularly for younger generations.

For several years, the International Union for Conservation Nature, IUCN, has announced the loss of two animal species per year, but this figure does not reflect reality.

The disappearance of an animal species on a given territory is a warning. This situation signals a drastic decline leading to the total disappearance of species.

Since 1900, scientists has examined the population trends of 27,600 vertebrate species such as birds, amphibians, mammals, and reptiles from the five continents: the results are disturbing.

Biological annihilation advances massively and rapidly, with the loss of 200 species in the last 100 years, as against 200 species in 10,000 years. The species that were still out of danger 10 or 20 years ago are now in a fragile situation.

The main causes of these sixth mass extinctions are the destruction of their habitat (deforestation, drainage of wetlands...), overexploitation, pollution and global warming, where Man is to blame.

This life extinction has unprecedented consequences for the ecosystems in which we are taking part. If we do not recover this vital balance quickly, we will know ecological, economic and social disasters.

We have maybe 20 to 30 years left to do something. If we do not act now, species will not have enough resources to live and we will disappear with them.

CORNERS

———————

Wild Immersion ‘Immersive Corners’ will be distributed in different parts of the world, in places enjoying a large range of consumers such as malls, city centers, cinemas, hotels or and entertaining networks. The ‘Corners’ correspond to an adaptable Virtual Reality room easy to set and operated by 2 staff members on a 20 to 40 square meter space.

The ‘Corners’ will include The Wild Immersion branding material, a flexible wall and lightening, to close the space, and between 20 to 40 headsets and seats. It is a flexible and event-oriented kit able to attract visitors and expose them to the content produced. The materials are eco-responsible and renewable.

PERMANENT LOCATIONS

———————

Through its permanent venues concept, The Wild Immersion creates a full immersive designed room. Each room provides real sensation to the public, via a sophisticated sound system, a changing room climate and other live event techniques. All this technology allows the public to be fully submerged into the augmented reality immersion.

The full concept is a 300 square meters area, including 3 different themed-rooms: Earth, Water, and Ice.

A seated audience equipped with Virtual Reality headsets can discover Nature and wild animals in their natural environments, as walking in the savannah, diving into the ocean or flying with rare birds; surrounded by a cutting-edge sound system. The Wild Immersion is a virtual reality spectacle about wild animals, preserved Nature and humans.

VIRTUAL REALITY CONTENT PRODUCTION

———————

The Wild Immersion is planning to produce and commercialize 360 virtual reality movies from 10 to 15 minutes per film in order to build the largest library of true Virtual Reality environments. The production team is led by two of the company’s founders, Adrien Moisson and Raphael Aupy, specialized in VR filmmaking, who have constituted a team of 6 to 10 people in order to produce the catalogue of moves budgeted.

Every Wild Immersion movie is a unique experience, a totally immersive dive into the heart of the subject filmed in 360°. We are always close to our filmed subjects and often take some measured risks to get there. The team is seasoned in productions and specialized in 360° footage.

In addition, the post-production team knows how to create an immersive and emotional environment, helped by the sound and music that is a key element. We therefore pay a lot of attention to this to make a strong immersive feeling and have a very realistic production through Virtual Reality.

The production of each 10 minute film represents 7 days of filming, with a team of 4 persons including a filmmaker, an assistant and 2 operators. Overall, the production of the 36 movies represents 60 days of filmmaking and 30 days of post-production (cleaning, mixing, …) and sound arrangement.

JANE GOODALL

EVERY ACT BEGINS WITH AN AWARENESS AND EMPATHY.

TOGETHER, LET’S ACCELERATE CHANGE!

PARTNERS

At the age of 23, Jane Goodall was invited to Kenya by a friend. There, she met Dr. Louis Leakey, a famous archaeologist and paleontologist who carried out extensive excavations in the Horn of Africa. He was searching for someone to begin a study of chimpanzees. He was drawn to Jane's persistent desire to understand animals and believed that a mind uncluttered by academia would yield a fresh perspective.

In July 1960, Jane made her historic journey to Africa. She settled in the Lake Tanganyika region of Tanzania to study chimpanzees' habitat in the forest at Gombe. Jane Goodall then began what will be the longest field study conducted on wild animals living in their natural environments. She took an unorthodox approach, naming the chimpanzees, immersing herself in their habitat, experiencing their complex society as a neighbor rather than a distant observer.

In October 1960, she observed a chimpanzee making and using tools to catch termites. This discovery undermined the definition of "human being" at the time, which then attributed this behavior exclusively to Man.

During the years that followed, her work continued to profoundly transform the field of primatology. Her innumerable works led her to observe that chimpanzees have many intellectual abilities, distinct personalities, minds, emotions and form lasting family relationships.

More significantly, Dr. Goodall's work engaged a global audience, providing a window into the world of chimpanzees to a public with a deep curiosity about humankind's closest genetic relatives.

Dr. Goodall's mission today is to save chimpanzees from extinction, raise awareness about the other environmental crises we face and share here reasons for hope that human beings will ultimately solve the problems we have created.

She believes in the collective power of individual action "Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference".

— The Jane Goodall Institute —

Founded in 1977, the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) promotes understanding and protection of great apes and their habitats and builds on the legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall, to inspire individual action by young people of all ages to help animals, other people and to protect the world we all share.

Protecting chimpanzees is at the heart of JGI's work across the Congo Basin through primate research, habitat protection, environmental education, rescue and rehabilitation.

JGI's approach to conservation is based on Dr. Goodall's philosophy that human needs must be addressed in order to achieve enduring protection for other species and the natural world. TACARE program (TAnganyika CAtchment Reforestation and Education) focuses on community socio-economic development and offers training and education in sustainable natural resource management.

Through Roots & Shoots program, JGI is leading a global movement in conservation by equipping an entire generation of young people to become activated and empowered conservation minded citizens in their daily lives.
